Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Chispa → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Chispa → Cancel.
- Website: Chispa account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Chispa account
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap the gear icon to open your settings.
- Scroll all the way down and tap Delete.
- Confirm. Your connections and conversations can’t be restored.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Chispa’s help center.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your Chispa account doesn’t stop a subscription you bought through the App Store or Google Play, so cancel first. In the app, tap your profile icon, then the gear icon, scroll down to Manage Subscription and follow the steps. On an iPhone you can also go to Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Chispa → Cancel Subscription. You keep paid features until the end date, and then your account goes back to free (Chispa help center). If you think you cancelled but were still charged, Apple handles App Store billing.
Hide your profile instead
If you’ve met someone or need a break, you can hide your profile instead of deleting it. Tap your profile icon, then the gear icon, find Show me on Chispa and switch it off, then tap Done. Hidden profiles don’t appear in other members’ discover stack, and your account, matches and chats stay in place for when you return (Chispa, 2023).
What deleting removes
Deleting is permanent. Chispa says it removes all your connections, and you can’t restore your conversations later (Chispa help center). Swap numbers with anyone you want to keep in touch with before you go.
If you turned on Expanded Discovery & Interaction, your profile may also have appeared in other Match Group apps. Switching it off in Settings → Your Privacy Choices → Match Group Data Sharing removes it from those apps, and deleting your account ends it for good. You can also ask Chispa for a copy of your personal data or contact customer care through its help center.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting Chispa cancel my subscription?
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Turn off auto-renewal in Settings → Manage Subscription in the app, or in the App Store or Google Play; you keep paid features until the end date.
Does uninstalling Chispa delete my account?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your profile active. You must delete the account in settings.
Can I pause Chispa instead of deleting?
Many dating sites let you hide or pause your profile. Check Chispa’s settings for a pause or hide option if you might come back.
