Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → EME Hive → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → EME Hive → Cancel.
- Website: EME Hive account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your EME Hive account
- Cancel your subscription first (Manage Subscription, or the App Store / Google Play).
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Deactivate / delete and tick a reason.
- Confirm. A deleted profile cannot be restored.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check EME Hive’s help centre.
Deleting EME Hive
Deleting your EME Hive (EastMeetEast) account is permanent — you cannot get the profile back unless you register again from scratch.
Step 1: cancel your subscription
Open Manage Subscription in your account and cancel, or cancel in the App Store or Google Play if you bought there. You keep premium access until the end of the billing cycle. Remember that refunds are generally only available if you cancel within three days of subscribing.
Step 2: delete the account
- Go to your Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Deactivate (the account removal option).
- Tick a reason and confirm.
Before you delete
- Exchange contact details with anyone you want to keep talking to.
- If you only need a break, consider simply logging out and turning off notifications instead — a new account later means rebuilding your profile.
- If you signed up with a social login, make sure you can still sign in before starting.
If you cannot find the option
The help section on EME Hive's website lists current steps and a contact route. Older guides online still refer to "EastMeetEast" menus, which may look slightly different after the rebrand.
Finally, check your app store's subscription list after deleting to make sure nothing is still set to renew.
