Short answer
✅ The App Store lists 3- and 7-day free trials of Hily Premium for some people. They turn into paid plans, so cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. A trial can be used only once.
What you can do for free
- Profile and browsing in Finder
- Likes, matching and chat
- Basic filters
- Photo verification badge
Is there a Hily free trial?
Yes, for some people. The US App Store lists Hily Premium with “3 days FREE” and “7 days FREE” options at $14.99, and a similar trial for an add-on called Hily Elixir at $19.99 (checked November 1, 2026). Hily’s terms say a free trial can be used only once.
How to avoid being charged
A trial turns into a paid plan on its own, and on Hily the plan may be weekly. To avoid paying:
- Note the end date when you start.
- Cancel in the App Store or Google Play at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Don’t rely on deleting the app or your account, because neither one stops billing.
If you cancel, Hily’s terms say any unused part of the trial may be forfeited, so cancel near the end, but not too near.
What’s free without a trial
You don’t need a trial to use Hily. Everyone can make a profile, browse Finder, use basic filters, send likes, match and chat. You can also get a verification badge with a quick photo check.
Making the free version work
- Add clear, recent photos without heavy filters. Hily says it shows genuine profiles to more people.
- Write a short bio with something people can ask about.
- Say honestly what you’re looking for.
- Report anyone who sends strange links or asks for money.
