Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Hily → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Hily → Cancel.
- Website: Hily account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Hily account
- Cancel Hily Premium first if you have it.
- Open Hily, go to your profile and tap the gear icon.
- Open Account and choose to delete your account.
- Pick a reason and tap Continue. You can also use Hily’s deletion form or email [email protected].
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Hily’s help centre.
Deleting a Hily account
Deleting removes your profile, matches and chats. Before you do, cancel any subscription — this is where most surprise charges come from.
Step 1: cancel Premium
Deleting your Hily account or uninstalling the app does not cancel Hily Premium. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play, at least 24 hours before renewal. Hily's in-app FAQ has a "How to cancel my subscription?" guide under Premium billing.
Step 2: delete the account
- Open Hily and go to your profile.
- Tap the gear icon to open settings.
- Open Account and choose to delete your account.
- Select a reason and tap Continue to confirm.
If you cannot sign in, Hily also offers an account-deletion form on its website, and support is available at [email protected].
Before you delete
- Save contact details for anyone you want to keep talking to.
- If you streamed, remember that viewers may have saved clips — deleting your account removes your profile, not copies other people made.
- If you are only taking a break, turning off notifications is enough; a new account later starts from scratch.
Deletion is final, so if you think you may come back in a few months, a break is usually the better option.
