Using one specialist site plus one bigger app is a good balance, especially outside big cities.
None of the sites in our ranking is completely free, but several go a long way without paying. Yes, and on bigger apps it happens often. Dating isn’t forbidden, but marriage has rules. Under canon law, a Catholic who marries a baptized Christian of another church needs the bishop’s permission, and marrying someone who isn’t baptized needs a dispensation. In both cases the Catholic partner promises to do all they can to have the children baptized and raised Catholic, and the other partner is told about that promise (Code of Canon Law, canons 1086, 1124 and 1125). If marriage is the goal, talk about faith and children early.
For the Church, a civil divorce doesn’t end a marriage. A divorced Catholic can marry in the Church only after the earlier marriage has been declared null (canon 1085).
