Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Badoo → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Badoo → Cancel.
- Website: Badoo account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Badoo account
- Open your Profile.
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen and confirm.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Badoo’s help center.
Delete Badoo on the website
On badoo.com, open your Profile, click the gear icon to go to Settings, and click Delete account at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see the option, confirm your email address first; Badoo will send you a new verification link. Deleting the app from your phone, or simply not using it, doesn’t delete your profile.
Hide your profile instead
If you only want a break, you don’t have to deactivate your account for good. In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Account and switch on Hide account; on the website, use the Hide profile toggle in the same place. Switch it off again whenever you want to be visible.
How to cancel your Badoo subscription
Deleting your account may not cancel Badoo Premium or Extra, so unsubscribe first, where you paid:
- App Store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Badoo → Cancel Subscription;
- Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Badoo → Cancel Subscription;
- card or PayPal: in the app, tap your profile icon → Plans → Cancel Subscription, or on badoo.com go to Settings → Payment settings.
You keep your paid features until the end of the period you’ve paid for. For refunds, Apple and Google handle purchases made through them, and Badoo’s support team reviews card and PayPal payments.
Restore a deleted Badoo account
Badoo hides a deleted profile straight away, but for up to 28 days you can recover it by contacting Badoo’s support team. After that, Badoo begins deleting your personal information, and the account can’t be restored.
Erase your data faster
To skip the 28-day window, you can send Badoo a data erasure request; Badoo says this can take up to 30 days. If your profile was blocked, Badoo keeps some basic data to enforce the block, and it keeps other data where the law requires it.
What you lose
Unused Credits disappear with the account, along with your matches and chats. If you’re talking to someone you’d like to keep in touch with, swap contact details before you start.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting Badoo cancel my subscription?
Deleting your account may not cancel Badoo Premium or Extra. Cancel where you paid: in the App Store, in Google Play, or in Badoo’s Plans or Payment settings for card and PayPal, at least 24 hours before it renews.
Does uninstalling Badoo delete my account?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your profile active. You must delete the account in settings.
