Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Bumble → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Bumble → Cancel.
- Website: Bumble account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Bumble account
- Tap the profile icon.
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Choose your reason for leaving and confirm.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Bumble’s help center.
Snooze instead of deleting
If you only need a break, Snooze Mode hides your profile without deleting anything. Open your profile, tap the Settings icon and choose Snooze Mode for 24 hours, 72 hours, a week or indefinitely. You can show matches an away status such as “I’m traveling” and keep chatting with them, but matches without an active chat will expire, and snoozing doesn’t pause a subscription.
How to cancel your Bumble subscription
Deleting your account may not cancel Boost, Premium or Premium+, so unsubscribe first, where you paid:
- App Store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Bumble → Cancel Subscription;
- Google Play: your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Bumble → Cancel Subscription;
- card, PayPal or Apple Pay: in the Bumble app, tap the profile icon → Subscription details → Manage your subscription.
You keep paid features until the end of the period. If Apple or Google approve a refund, you may lose access straight away.
Restore a deleted Bumble account
Bumble hides a deleted profile at once, but for up to 28 days you can get it back by contacting Bumble’s support team. After 28 days, Bumble starts deleting your personal information, and the account can’t be restored. Removing the app from your phone, or not using it for months, doesn’t delete your profile.
Erase your data or get a copy
To skip the 28-day window, send Bumble a Data Erasure Request; it can take up to 30 days. If your profile was blocked, Bumble keeps some basic data to enforce the block. Want a copy of your chats or account data first? Ask through chat support with the words “Request data”. Bumble aims to reply within a calendar month, and for a shared conversation, both people need to request their own side.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting Bumble cancel my subscription?
Deleting Bumble may not cancel Boost, Premium or Premium+. Cancel where you paid (the App Store, Google Play, or Subscription details in the app for card, PayPal or Apple Pay) at least 24 hours before it renews.
Does uninstalling Bumble delete my account?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your profile active. You must delete the account in settings.
Can I pause Bumble instead of deleting?
Many dating sites let you hide or pause your profile. Check Bumble’s settings for a pause or hide option if you might come back.
