Is Bumble free?
Yes. If you’re looking for a free dating site or app, Bumble’s free version covers the basics: swiping, matching, your opening message, chat, voice and video calls, and basic filters. You also get one free Extend a day.
Bumble swipe limit and when likes reset
Free members have a daily like allowance, which Bumble doesn’t publish as a number. When you reach it, your likes reset 24 hours later: if you hit the limit at 8pm, you can swipe again at 8pm the next day. Any paid plan from Boost upward gives you unlimited likes.
What Boost, Premium and Premium+ add
Each plan includes the one below it.
- Boost is about not losing matches: unlimited likes, unlimited Extends, Rematch with expired matches, unlimited Backtrack to undo a left swipe, plus five SuperSwipes and one Spotlight a week.
- Premium adds the Liked You queue of everyone who already swiped right on you, advanced filters, Incognito mode and Travel mode.
- Premium+ adds priority in other people’s feeds, faster delivery of your likes, photo insights, and two Notes, ten SuperSwipes and two Spotlights a week.
Bumble price in 2026
The Bumble price depends on the plan, its length and where you buy it, and Bumble says longer plans and bigger packs work out cheaper. In the US App Store, Bumble Boost purchases were listed at $2.99 to $12.99 and Bumble Premium at $17.99 to $32.99 when we checked on October 3, 2026, without the plan lengths shown. Premium+ is priced in the app. To see what you’d pay, open your profile in the app and check the Pay plan tab. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Is Bumble Premium worth it?
Start free for a week. If you keep running out of likes, Boost is the cheaper fix. Premium is worth it if likes are coming in and you want to see who sent them, or if you need Travel mode before a trip. Premium+ mainly buys visibility, which matters most in a busy city.
SuperSwipes, Spotlights and Notes
You can also buy single extras without a subscription. A SuperSwipe shows you’re especially keen, a Spotlight puts you in front of more people nearby for a while, and a Note (once called a Compliment) lets you send up to 150 characters before you match. If you then match, the Note counts as your opening message.
How not to overpay
- Try the shortest plan first and set a reminder a couple of days before it renews.
- Cancel where you paid: the App Store, Google Play, or Subscription details in the app for card, PayPal and Apple Pay.
- Ignore promo code sites. Bumble says it doesn’t accept promo codes; its own special offers appear as banners in the app and on the Pay plan page.
