Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Christian Mingle → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Christian Mingle → Cancel.
- Website: Christian Mingle account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Christian Mingle account
- Cancel Premium first in My Profile → Account Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription, or in the App Store or Google Play if you paid there.
- Open your Profile (left sidebar on the website, profile icon at the bottom right in the app).
- Go to Account Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account and choose Delete Account again.
- Pick a reason, type delete and confirm with Delete Account.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Christian Mingle’s help center.
Before you delete your Christian Mingle account
End Premium before you delete Christian Mingle for good. Deleting your account, uninstalling the app or updating it doesn’t stop a subscription, and Christian Mingle doesn’t refund renewals (refund help). How you cancel depends on where you paid:
- Website: My Profile → Account Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. Choose your subscription, select Cancel Subscription, pick a reason and then Confirm Cancellation. You’ll see a message on screen and get a confirmation email.
- iPhone: cancel in your Apple ID subscriptions. Christian Mingle can’t cancel Apple subscriptions for you.
- Android: cancel in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
You don’t need the app installed to cancel through Apple or Google. Premium stays active until the paid term ends, and then the account drops to the free Basic plan.
What deleting removes
Deletion is permanent. Your profile, matches and messages are removed, and support can’t restore the account afterward. Swap contact details with anyone you want to keep talking to before you confirm.
If you might come back, know that Christian Mingle’s help center describes no pause or hide option. The closest thing is to cancel Premium and stay on the free plan. Selfies from profile verification aren’t kept by Christian Mingle; its partner Persona runs the check and deletes the scan data afterward. For other personal data, see the Black Cap privacy policy.
Refunds and Christian Mingle customer service
If you paid on the website, ask Christian Mingle customer service about a refund. Apple and Google handle App Store and Google Play refunds under their own rules. All purchases are officially non-refundable, but some states and countries give extra cancellation rights, which the terms of use describe.
There’s no Christian Mingle phone number. Support works through chat on the help center, which is the fastest route, and a contact form. Use the email address on your account so the team can find you. Any number advertised as Christian Mingle support isn’t official.
