What is Christian Connection?
Christian Connection is a dating site and app for single Christians, run since 2000 by a small team in London. Jackie Elton founded it, and it’s owned by Widernet Communications Ltd (Wikipedia). It’s an independent business, not part of a big dating group. It says it has won more than 15 awards, including Religious Dating Site of the Year at the UK Dating Awards, and it was a founding member of the Online Dating Association.
How the Christian Connection dating site works
You build a profile, answer questions about yourself and your faith, and say what you want in a partner. Then you search for members near you, send a wave to say hello, like profiles you’re interested in, and message the people you want to get to know. Your Likes page also shows who liked you and who viewed your profile. The website, the iPhone app and the Android app share one account (Christian Connection help).

Who uses Christian Connection
The site is open to people 18 and over in eight countries: the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Singapore. You can only contact members in your own country, because the team wants people to meet in person (Christian Connection help). The UK is its home, with members from London and Manchester to Glasgow and Belfast.

Yes. It’s a long-established company, and its team checks every new profile before it goes live. Its 2026 policy on AI bans fake profiles, bots and photos edited so heavily they don’t look like you.
