Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Facebook Dating → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Facebook Dating → Cancel.
- Website: Facebook Dating account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Facebook Dating account
- Open Facebook and go to Dating.
- Open Dating Settings.
- Tap Delete Profile and confirm with Delete.
- Note: you cannot create a new Dating profile for 7 days.

Taking a break instead
If you only want a pause, you can stop using Dating without deleting it, and adjust who you see or who can see you in your Dating settings. That keeps your profile ready for when you come back, without the 7-day wait.
Deleting Facebook entirely?
If you plan to delete your whole Facebook account, your Dating profile goes with it. Save contact details for anyone you want to stay in touch with before you do.
A privacy note: deleting your Dating profile removes it from the Dating section, but information you shared on your main Facebook profile is unaffected. If you want less of your life visible to potential matches, review your main profile's privacy settings as well.
