Loosid cost in the App Store
Loosid says it’s free to use, so you don’t have to pay anything to match and chat. The US App Store lists these top purchases for the Loosid Sober Dating app (checked November 1, 2026):

The App Store doesn’t state how long each Dating Premium plan runs, and Loosid doesn’t publish a list of what each tier includes, so read the upgrade screen. The community app lists Dating Pro at lower prices, $19.99 for a month and $44.99 for three months, plus Sober Plus at $12.99 a month, so compare both apps before you buy.
What about SAM?
SAM, the Sobriety & Addiction Mentor, is a separate premium feature of the community app, not a dating plan. Loosid’s FAQ puts it at $20 a month, and the App Store lists plans from $9.99 a week to $79.99 for six months. Loosid also says it offers financial assistance and scholarships for people who can’t afford it (Loosid). If cost is a barrier and you’re looking for support, it’s worth asking.
Is it worth paying?
For dating, not to begin with. You can match and chat for free, and the main question is how many people are near you, which a subscription can’t change. If you’re in a big city and want more visibility or a better idea of who likes you, try a week or a month first.
If you’re deciding between paying for dating and paying for support, support is the one to prioritize.
Renewal and refunds
App store plans normally renew automatically until you turn them off, so do that at least a day before the term ends. Apple and Google manage those subscriptions and handle refund requests. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel them. Our guide to deleting Loosid has the steps.
