Short answer
ℹ️ Muzz says it will always let members match and chat for free. Some members are offered a free trial of Gold, which turns into a paid plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
What you can do for free
- Matching and chat
- Photo privacy and Chaperone mode
- Filters such as age, sect and location
- One free Compliment a month
Is there a Muzz free trial?
Sometimes. Muzz’s help pages describe free trials of Gold, though not every member sees one, and Apple and Google allow just one per app account. Muzz also says new subscribers may see exclusive deals when they sign up (Muzz).
How a trial turns into a charge
A free trial converts into a paid subscription automatically when it ends (Muzz). To avoid paying:
- Note the end date when you start.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, through Apple, Google Play or Stripe.
- Don’t rely on deleting or deactivating your account, because neither cancels a subscription.
What you get for free anyway
- Matching and chat, always free.
- Selfie verification and optional ID verification.
- Photo privacy and Chaperone mode.
- Filters such as age, sect and location.
- Voice and video calls with your matches.
- One free Compliment a month.
The limits are likes, which top up twice a day, and five active chats at a time. Gold raises both.
Making the free plan work
- Answer the Marriage Intentions questions honestly, because they save everyone’s time.
- Add photos that meet Muzz’s rules, since a rejected photo holds you up.
- Use your likes on people you’d really consider, and keep your chat list moving.
- Save your monthly Compliment for the one person you don’t want to miss.
