Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Muzz → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Muzz → Cancel.
- Website: Muzz account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Muzz account
- Cancel Gold first, through Apple, Google Play or Stripe.
- Tap Menu, then the Settings cog.
- Tap Manage Account, then Delete my Muzz Profile.
- Follow the steps. You can choose Take a short break instead.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Muzz’s help center.
Cancel Gold first
Deleting or deactivating Muzz doesn’t cancel Gold. Cancel through the same platform you used to subscribe, at least 24 hours before renewal (Muzz):
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Muzz Gold → Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Muzz → Cancel.
- Stripe: in the app, Menu → Settings → Account → Manage purchases, then cancel your plan.
Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period.
Deleting your Muzz account
In the app, go to Menu → Settings → Manage Account → Delete my Muzz Profile. To delete Muzz and Jamaa together, choose “Delete my account and all of my data” in the same menu.
Why your data stays for two years
Your profile is hidden from other members straight away, but your account isn’t wiped immediately. Muzz marks it for erasure, and your profile, photos, chats and personal information are removed from its servers after two years. Until then, you can restore it, and after that you’d have to start again with a new account (Muzz). Anonymized transaction records stay for two years. If you need your data gone sooner, Muzz’s privacy policy explains your rights.
Deactivate for a short break
If you want time away, go to Menu → Settings → Manage Account → Take a short break from using Muzz. Nobody sees your profile, including your matches, and your account and information are kept until you log back in (Muzz). You keep your chats and matches this way, so it’s the better choice if you might return. Gold still bills you unless you cancel it.

Does deleting Muzz cancel my subscription?

Does uninstalling Muzz delete my account?
