Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RSVP → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → RSVP → Cancel.
- Website: RSVP account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your RSVP account
- Cancel auto-renewal first: Settings → Subscription & Purchase History → Manage Subscription on the website, or in your app store.
- Open Settings, and under My Account, select Delete Account.
- Tap Delete and select a reason.
- Tap Delete again to confirm. This is permanent.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check RSVP’s help center.
Step 1: cancel auto-renewal
You must do this before you delete, and how you do it depends on where you bought your plan (RSVP).
- RSVP website: log in on the website, not the app. Then Profile icon → Settings → Subscription & Purchase History → Manage Subscription → Cancel Auto-renewal.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RSVP → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → RSVP → Cancel subscription.
RSVP’s support team can’t cancel Apple or Google subscriptions. Card plans renew one day before they expire, so if you cancel after that, the charge may already have happened.
Step 2: delete your profile
On the website:
- Click your Profile icon, then Settings.
- Under My Account, select Delete Account, then Delete.
- Select a reason, then click Delete again to confirm.
In the app: go to Settings from the Home page, then follow the same steps.
What you lose
Deleting is permanent and can’t be undone. You’ll lose your profile, contact history and unused Stamps, along with any time left on a Premium plan. So use your Stamps first if you have conversations to finish, and swap contact details with anyone you’d like to keep in touch with.
Take a Break instead
If you only want time away, go to Settings → My Account → Take a Break. Your profile’s hidden, nobody can contact you and you can’t contact anyone, but your details and history stay in place until you reactivate (RSVP). This doesn’t cancel a subscription, and RSVP has no way to pause one, so turn off renewal too.
If you just stop logging in
After a year without logging in, your profile goes dormant and leaves Matches and Search. After a second year, it can be deleted. Don’t rely on this if you want your details gone.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting RSVP cancel my subscription?
Deleting your profile doesn’t cancel an app-store subscription, and RSVP support can’t cancel Apple or Google purchases. Deleting also forfeits unused Stamps and any Premium time left.
Does uninstalling RSVP delete my account?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your profile active. You must delete the account in settings.
Can I pause RSVP instead of deleting?
Many dating sites let you hide or pause your profile. Check RSVP’s settings for a pause or hide option if you might come back.
