How the RSVP dating site works

You join free and verify your mobile number, then fill in a profile. You can find people through Search, Matches, Nearby and Common Interests. It’s more of a browse-and-read site than a swiping app.

Then come two steps that make RSVP different. A Wink is a free hello. It’s free to send, and the other person can answer positively or decline. A Stamp opens a private Chat with one person, with unlimited messages for 30 days, and the other person can reply for free (RSVP). So you don’t need a subscription to talk. You pay only for the conversations you start.

Is RSVP legit and safe?

It’s a long-running, real service. New profiles go through mobile, email and location checks and a content review, and optional Photo Verification earns a green tick. RSVP may also ask for ID if something looks suspicious. Its help center has unusually detailed scam guides.

App ratings are the weak spot: 2.6 out of 5 from only 122 ratings in the Australian App Store, and 2.5 from about 4,500 on Google Play (checked November 1, 2026).
