Short answer
ℹ️ We found no free trial of the paid tiers, but The League says Batches, matching and messaging are free. Everyone starts on a waitlist, and Unlimited skips it.
What you can do for free
- A small daily Batch
- Matching
- Messaging with matches
- Automated Concierge tips
Is there a free trial of The League?
We found no free trial of the paid tiers in The League’s help center. You can use the app itself without paying, though. The League says Batches, matching and messaging are free, and that many members never subscribe.
What free members get
- A small daily Batch at 5pm local time.
- Matching, and messaging with your matches.
- Automated Concierge tips, and in some markets AI suggestions for your profile.
You don’t get as many Potentials, a list of who likes you or free Rematches. And before any of that, you have to get off the waitlist.
Getting off the waitlist for free
The only way to skip it instantly is to pay for Unlimited, but you can move up without spending anything:
- Add six photos. The League says that makes approval twice as likely.
- Fill in your About Me, interests and Lightning Round prompts.
- Verify with LinkedIn, or with a work or .edu email.
- Widen your preferences, since narrow ones mean a longer wait.
- Ask a friend who’s a member for an Endorsement or a Golden Ticket. A Golden Ticket puts you at the front and guarantees a review within 48 business hours.
- Turn on notifications, so you know when you’re in.
Discounts
We found no public promo codes for The League. It says discounted prices appear on upgrade screens for a set window, so an offer you see may not last. See what each tier costs first. Ignore sites promising a free membership or asking for your login.
