Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → The League → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → The League → Cancel.
- Website: The League account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your The League account
- Sign in to The League and tap the far-right button at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
- Removing the app doesn’t delete your account.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check The League’s help center.
Cancel your membership first
If you pay through Apple or Google, deleting your account won’t stop the subscription (The League).
- In the app, any platform: Account Settings → Support → Manage Subscriptions, then choose The League and Cancel Subscription.
- iPhone settings: Apple ID → Subscriptions → The League → Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → The League → Cancel Subscription.
Credit card purchases made through Stripe, in select markets, are cancelled in the app. Refunds generally aren’t given, though it depends on where you live. The League’s terms have the details.
What deleting removes
Deleting closes your profile and removes your photos, chat history and interactions under The League’s privacy policy. Removing the app from your phone doesn’t delete the account. If you’ve already removed the app, contact the support team, and they’ll help you close it.
Take a Time Out instead
If you only want a rest, pause your account: tap your Profile, scroll to Support, tap Pause My Account, then Request Timeout. Your profile is hidden, and you can still chat with your current matches. Use the same steps to come back. Your subscription keeps renewing while you’re paused unless you turn it off (The League).
Before you leave
- Move to phone or another app with any match you want to keep in touch with, because chats go with the account.
- Request a copy of your data first if you’d like one. The help center explains how.
- If you verified with LinkedIn, you can also remove The League’s access in your LinkedIn settings. That doesn’t close your League account by itself.
The League customer support
Use the Contact Support form in The League’s help center. For bugs or billing problems, include your device model, the app version and screenshots. Unlimited and Omni members also have a human Concierge in the app.

Does deleting The League cancel my subscription?

Does uninstalling The League delete my account?
