Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Zoosk → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Zoosk → Cancel.
- Website: Zoosk account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Zoosk account
- Turn off automatic renewal first, or billing continues.
- Open Profile → Account Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account.
- Choose a reason and type delete.
- Select Delete Account. This is permanent.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Zoosk’s help center.
Cancel Zoosk+ first
Deleting your Zoosk account doesn’t cancel your subscription, and billing keeps running until you turn it off. Cancel where you bought it (Zoosk):
- Website: My Profile → Account Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription → select your subscription → Cancel Subscription, choose a reason and confirm. You’ll get a confirmation email.
- iPhone: in your Apple account settings, since Apple bills you.
- Android: in your Google Play account, since Google bills you.
You keep Zoosk+ until the end of the period you paid for, then drop to Basic. Purchases are final and non-refundable, so turn off renewal before the next billing date. Cancelling Premium Messaging separately doesn’t cancel your membership.
What deleting does
Deleting is permanent. Your profile, matches, Connections, messages and account data are removed and can’t be restored. If you come back later, you’ll need a new account.
Can you hide your Zoosk profile?
No. Zoosk says there’s no way to pause, hide or deactivate a profile, and no setting to appear offline (Zoosk). Your account is either active or deleted.
If you only want a break, turn off your notifications and stop logging in. Your profile stays as it is, and people can still see it, so anyone who’d rather not be visible at all has to delete.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting Zoosk cancel my subscription?
Deleting your account does not cancel Zoosk+. Turn off renewal on the website, or through Apple or Google if you bought it there. All purchases are final and non-refundable.
Does uninstalling Zoosk delete my account?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your profile active. You must delete the account in settings.
