Is there a happn free trial?
happn does not offer a standard free trial of Premium, but the free version is enough to judge whether the app works where you live:
- see people you have crossed paths with;
- like profiles and get Crushes when it is mutual;
- chat with your Crushes;
- see roughly where you crossed paths.
Premium adds the list of people who already liked you, more FlashNotes and invisible mode.
How to test happn in a week
- Carry your phone on your normal routes. Crossings build up as you move around — commute, lunch, the gym.
- Check your timeline in the evening. That is when the day's crossings are easiest to recognise.
- Use the shared location as your opener. It is the one thing every happn match already has in common.
- Count the crossings after seven days. If there are plenty, Premium may be worth it; if there are only a handful, happn is not the right app for your area.
Offers outside the app
"Free happn Premium" pages elsewhere are not connected to happn. Real discounts appear in the app when you are signed in.
Remember that happn only works when location access is on, so check your phone's permission settings if your timeline stays empty.
