Plenty of Fish cost in the App Store
Plenty of Fish is free to use, so you never have to pay. If you do upgrade, POF doesn’t publish a price list; you see your options under your account. The US App Store lists these top purchases (checked November 1, 2026):

The App Store doesn’t say which tier each “Upgrade” is. Google Play lists items from $0.99 to $399.99, so a long plan can cost far more than these figures. POF sells one-week, one-, two-, three- and six-month plans, and in some cases installment billing. You’re charged the full amount up front unless you choose installments, and POF shows you the monthly breakdown first.
What POF Plus, Premium and Prestige add
- POF Plus: unlimited likes, extended profile details such as whether someone wants children, first look at new members, up to 16 photos and no ads.
- POF Premium: everything in Plus, plus Interested in Me, which shows everyone who liked you in one view, and read receipts.
- POF Prestige: everything in Premium, plus unlimited First Contacts and priority likes. POF says it’s available only to some US iPhone members (POF).
Incognito, which hides you from everyone except people you’ve liked or messaged, comes with paid tiers where it’s available. Boosts and Super Likes are sold separately, whatever your plan.
Is it worth paying?
For most people, no. Search, Meet Me and messaging your matches are all free. Plus is worth a short try if you run out of likes or want rid of the ads, and Premium if you get a lot of likes and want to see them together. Buy one week or one month first, not six.
Refunds and renewal
POF says subscriptions are final and non-refundable, though its terms list some exceptions. Plans renew until you turn them off, at least 24 hours before they expire. Removing the app or deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Our guide to deleting POF has the steps.

How do I cancel my Plenty of Fish subscription?
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in your phone’s subscription settings. If you paid on the website, cancel in your Plenty of Fish account settings. Deleting your account or the app doesn’t cancel a subscription. Turn it off in the App Store, Google Play or on POF.com at least 24 hours before it expires. POF says subscriptions are non-refundable.
