Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Stir → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Stir → Cancel.
- Website: Stir account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Stir account
- Turn off auto-renewal first (App Store / Google Play, or Account Settings on the website).
- On a computer, go to the Stir website and open Account Settings.
- Click Manage Subscription and follow the steps to remove your account.
- Your profile and photos are hidden from other members straight away.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Stir’s help centre.
Removing your Stir account
Stir handles account removal through its subscription settings.
Step 1: turn off auto-renewal
If you have a paid plan, turn off auto-renewal first — in the App Store or Google Play if you bought there, or in Account Settings on the website.
Step 2: remove the account
- On a computer, go to the Stir website and sign in.
- Open Account Settings.
- Click Manage Subscription and follow the steps to cancel your membership and remove your account.
When you cancel your membership, Stir immediately hides your profile and photos from other members.
