CatholicMatch prices in 2026
CatholicMatch’s terms, updated August 5, 2026, list three Premium subscriptions: $29.99 for one month, $89.99 for six months and $119.99 for 12 months, in US dollars and before tax (CatholicMatch terms, 2026). The App Store listing shows the same three prices. That works out to about $15 a month on the six-month plan and about $10 a month on the 12-month plan.
The subscribe page shows a monthly rate for each term, but that figure is only for comparison. Every CatholicMatch subscription is billed in one payment when it starts, so the 12-month plan charges $119.99 on day one (CatholicMatch help center).
What the subscription changes
Premium doesn’t open a different site. It removes the limits of the free Basic plan. You can start conversations with anyone, and you read and answer messages as soon as they arrive instead of after a 10-day wait. You also get advanced search filters, unlimited likes, one Golden Like a week, the list of who liked or viewed you, priority support, Relate Live events and discounts on CatholicMatch products such as its Online Dating Course.
Is a CatholicMatch subscription worth it?
It is if you’ve already found people you want to write to. The wait for messages is the main reason to pay, because a 10-day delay can end a conversation before it starts. Basic may be enough for now if you mostly wait for others to make the first move. Mutual matches and Golden Likes can still message you freely.
How not to overpay
- Pick the term you’ll really use. The 12-month plan is cheapest per month, but you pay $119.99 upfront. One month at $29.99 is the cheaper test.
- Know when it renews. Plans renew automatically at the end of each term, and the terms say the renewal rate can change with notice. Your end date is shown on the subscription page.
- Refunds are rare. Purchases aren’t refundable once you’ve used Premium features, with case-by-case exceptions within three days. App Store purchases are refunded through Apple.
- Pause rather than quit. If you need a break, an inactive profile keeps your eligibility for CatholicMatch’s discounted renewal rates. Deleting the account loses it.
