Why is Dil Mil so expensive?
Dil Mil sells two paid tiers, VIP and VIP Elite, and lists a lot of different prices for them. That’s the main reason Dil Mil seems so expensive: the first offer you see may be one of the higher ones. Its App Store description says VIP Elite starts at $39.99 a month. The in-app purchase list in the US App Store (checked October 16, 2026) shows:
| Tier | 1 month | 3 months | 6 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| VIP | $19.99 (length shown in the app) | ||
| VIP Elite | $29.99 to $59.99 | $59.99 to $99.99 | $89.99 to $129.99 |
Several prices for the same plan usually mean prices change with offers, age or other factors. Dil Mil doesn’t explain how it sets them, so compare the plans in your own app before you buy. Google Play lists items from $0.99 up to $499.99, so Android prices can differ.
What VIP and VIP Elite add
VIP gives you unlimited likes, a list of people who already liked you so you can match instantly, filters for community, career and education, unlimited rewinds and daily Elite picks.
VIP Elite adds daily Super Likes and Boosts, read receipts and Community Chat. Once you have VIP Elite you can also buy extra Super Likes and Boosts from $1.99 each.
Is Dil Mil VIP worth it?
Swiping, matching and messaging your matches are free, so you don’t have to pay to meet someone. VIP is worth it if you live in a big South Asian community and want to filter by background, which is the feature people use Dil Mil for. VIP Elite’s extras are about visibility, and most people can skip them.
If you pay, start with a short plan. Subscriptions renew automatically through Apple or Google, so cancel in your store settings if you only want one term.
