Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → eHarmony → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → eHarmony → Cancel.
- Website: eHarmony account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your eHarmony account
- Turn off auto-renewal first in Data & Settings → Manage profile → Amend Subscription, or in the App Store or Google Play.
- If your subscription is still running, contact Customer Care to start the deletion.
- With no subscription, open the menu next to your photo and choose Data & Settings.
- Under Profile Status, click the link to permanently delete your profile and confirm with your password.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check eHarmony’s help center.
Cancel your eHarmony subscription first
Before you delete your eHarmony account, cancel your subscription. On the website, go to Data & Settings → Manage profile → Amend Subscription and follow the cancellation link. If you subscribed in the app:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → eharmony → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → eharmony → Cancel.
You can cancel at any time, but it must be at least 24 hours before your term ends to stop the renewal. Premium then runs to the end of the period you paid for, with no refund for unused days. If you paid in installments, the remaining payments are still due.
Refunds and the 3-day rule
If you live in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island or Wisconsin, eharmony’s terms let you cancel a new subscription without penalty before midnight of the third business day after you buy. Email [email protected]. App Store and Google Play refunds are decided by Apple and Google.
Delete or hide your profile
Deleting is permanent. You lose your messages and matches, and eharmony can’t restore the profile. If your subscription is still running, you can’t delete it yourself: contact Customer Care to start. Without a subscription, use the delete link under Profile Status in Data & Settings and confirm with your password.
If you only need a break, hide your profile instead. In Data & Settings, switch off Profile Visibility. New members won’t see you, but people you’ve already talked to or who favorited you still can.
eHarmony customer service
Customer Care works around the clock and replies within 24 hours, through the contact button on eharmony’s help pages. Its FAQ lists no phone number, and its terms give [email protected] for some requests. Be wary of “eharmony customer service phone numbers” on other sites: they aren’t official.

Does deleting eHarmony cancel my subscription?
Deleting your profile doesn’t cancel Premium, and eharmony doesn’t refund unused time. Turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before your term ends.
Does uninstalling eHarmony delete my account?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your profile active. You must delete the account in settings.
Can I pause eHarmony instead of deleting?
