Short answer
ℹ️ HER’s core features are free: you can like, match and message without paying. Its purchase guide mentions a Free Trial option on Android, so check your app’s Premium screen.
What you can do for free
- Likes, matches and messages
- A daily allowance of swipes
- Communities and the Feed
- Age and distance filters
Is there a HER free trial?
HER’s purchase guide says Android users can select a Free Trial, “if you haven’t completed your trial yet”, alongside Gold and Platinum (HER). The iPhone steps don’t mention one. So check your app’s Premium screen, and if you do start a trial, cancel before it ends unless you want to pay.
You don’t need a trial to test HER, though, because its core features are free.
What you get for free
- Likes, matches and messages, including messages sent directly from a profile.
- A daily allowance of swipes, and of likes with comments on iPhone.
- Communities and the Feed, with as many Communities as you like.
- Age and distance filters.
- Verification, Pride Pins and Places on your profile.
You’ll see ads, and you can’t filter by identity, see who viewed you or see everyone who liked you.
Using free HER well
- Get verified. HER’s team reviews it, and the badge makes people more likely to trust you.
- Message new matches within three days, because a match with no messages expires.
- Join two or three Communities, and post. People you meet there can message you.
- Add details to your profile, since the free filters can’t do the sorting for you.
- Check your notifications to see who liked you, then like them back.
HER promo codes
We found no public HER promo codes. HER says it often offers promotional rates inside the app, which vary by region and plan length. See what HER costs before you buy, and ignore sites promising free Platinum or asking for your login.
