Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Hiki → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Hiki → Cancel.
- Website: Hiki account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Hiki account
- Cancel Hiki Premium in the App Store or Google Play first.
- Open Hiki and go to your profile settings.
- Choose the option to delete your account and confirm.
- If you cannot find it, contact Hiki support through the app.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Hiki’s help centre.
Leaving Hiki
Before deleting your account, deal with any subscription — Hiki cannot cancel store billing for you.
Step 1: cancel Hiki Premium
Premium is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Cancel it in your store's subscription settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the app from your phone does not cancel it.
Step 2: delete your account
- Open Hiki and go to your profile settings.
- Look for the option to delete your account.
- Confirm.

A break instead?
If you are overwhelmed rather than finished, you do not have to delete. Turning off notifications and stepping away for a while keeps your profile, friendships and conversations in place, and many members find it easier to return to an app where people already know them.
Before you go
- Save contact details for friends you want to keep — messages disappear with the account.
- If you submitted ID for verification, Hiki states that submitted IDs are permanently deleted once verification is complete.
- Report anyone who made you uncomfortable before leaving.
