Sparks and Boosts
These are extra, one-off purchases. A Spark marks your match request as a sign of strong interest, romantic or friendly, and can be added only when you first send it. A Boost puts you first in the queue for people who fit your preferences. At these prices, they’re a lot to spend on a small community, so most people should skip them.
Is Hiki Premium worth paying for?
You can match and chat for free, so there’s no rush. Premium is worth trying if you’re in a small town and want to see people in other cities, or if the ID badge makes you feel safer. It’s a poor buy if few people are active in your area and you want a date nearby, because no plan can change that.
Hiki’s prices are high for an app this size. A month at $34 to $44 costs more than some much bigger apps. If you do try it, a one-month plan with the trial is the lowest-risk start.
Renewal and cancelling
