How to Delete Your LDS Singles Account

Delete your LDS Singles profile for good in a few minutes — and make sure you’re not charged again.

Step 1: Cancel your subscription

  • iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LDS Singles → Cancel.
  • Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LDS Singles → Cancel.
  • Website: LDS Singles account settings → subscription / billing.

Step 2: Delete your LDS Singles account

  1. Cancel auto-renewal first (My profile → Account settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription).
  2. Go to Account Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account.
  3. Click Delete Account again, choose a reason and type delete.
  4. Confirm. The account cannot be restored.

Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check LDS Singles’s help centre.

Deleting your LDS Singles profile

Deletion is permanent — the account cannot be restored afterwards.

Step 1: turn off auto-renewal

If you are a Premium member, cancel auto-renewal before deleting: My profile → Account settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription. App Store or Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled in the store.

Step 2: delete

  1. Go to Account Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account.
  2. Click Delete Account again when prompted.
  3. Choose a reason and type delete to confirm.

Not ready to delete?

LDS Singles also lets you deactivate matching, which stops you receiving and appearing in suggestions while keeping your account. That is the better option if you have met someone and want to see where it goes.

Before you go

Save contact details for people you are talking to — messages are removed with the account. If you think you may return, deactivating matching keeps your profile and values answers, so you will not need to fill everything in again.

It is also worth checking your email for any receipts or renewal notices, so you know exactly when your paid access ends and can confirm no further charges are scheduled.
