Basic versus Premium
LDS Singles follows the same model as other Spark Networks sites:
- Basic (free): create a profile, receive personalised match suggestions, send smiles and winks.
- Premium: unlimited messaging, read receipts so you know when messages are opened, and more match suggestions.
Premium is sold for several lengths — commonly three, six and twelve months — and longer terms cost less per month. New members are often shown promotional prices soon after joining.
Is Premium worth it?
- Wait a week. Look at the suggestions you receive and how many are active nearby.
- Send smiles and winks — they are free and tell you who is interested.
- Choose a longer term only if the suggestions are good. In areas with a small LDS population, start short.
Cancelling
Auto-renewal is on by default. To cancel: My profile → Account settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription, click Manage Subscription again, choose your plan, tap Cancel Subscription, pick a reason and confirm. You keep Premium until the end of the billing period, then move back to Basic. If you subscribed in the App Store or Google Play, cancel there.
Before buying, compare the total charge with the monthly figure shown: longer terms are usually billed in one payment, so the upfront amount can be several times the headline price. Keep the confirmation email, which shows your renewal date.
