What’s free on Lex
- Scrolling your local feed and hiding dating posts if you prefer.
- Writing posts, up to a limit.
- Messaging other members.
- Browsing profiles and discovering friends.
- Joining or starting groups.
- Finding events through the feed.
The app shows your post limit when you’ve got one post remaining. It contains ads, according to its App Store listing.
Making your free posts count
- Say something specific, such as a favorite place, a book you’re rereading or what you’re doing on Sunday.
- Say what you’re looking for, whether that’s a date, a friend or someone to go to a show with.
- Keep it short. A few sentences are enough.
- Reply to other people’s posts as well, instead of only writing your own.
- Join a group, so you’re talking to people nearby without relying on your posts.
Travel and location
Your location doesn’t update by itself. Going somewhere new? Change it when you arrive, in your profile under Edit, then Location. You can’t change it in advance (Lex).
