Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Salams → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Salams → Cancel.
- Website: Salams account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Salams account
- Cancel your plan first: Profile icon → gear icon → Manage Subscription, or in your app store.
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap the gear icon to open your settings.
- Scroll all the way down and tap the delete button. Your connections can’t be restored.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Salams’s help center.
Cancel your plan first
All plans renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date, so do this before you delete (Salams).
- In the app: Profile icon → gear icon → Manage Subscription, then follow the steps.
- iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Salams → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Salams → Cancel.
You keep full access until the plan expires, and then you go back to a free account.
How to delete your account
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap the gear icon to open your settings.
- Scroll all the way down, and tap the delete button.
Salams says this removes all your connections, and your conversations can’t be restored (Salams). Removing the app from your phone doesn’t delete your account.
Hide your profile instead
Have you started talking seriously to someone but aren’t sure yet? You don’t have to delete. Tap your profile icon, tap the gear icon, scroll to “Show me on Salams” and turn it off. Then tap Done. You won’t appear in the discover stack, and you can turn it back on at any time (Salams). This doesn’t cancel your plan.
Stop showing on other apps
If you’re staying but want your profile kept to Salams, turn off Expanded Discovery & Interaction. Go to Settings → Your Privacy Choices → Match Group Data Sharing. Salams says this setting only appears for some users and regions.

Salams’ help center explains how to request a copy of your personal data. Do that before you delete, if you want it.
Before you go
- Save contact details, or a family contact, for anyone you want to keep talking to.
- Report anyone who behaved inappropriately, so the team can act.
Salams support
Salams has no phone number, and it warns that numbers you find online are fake. Use the email link on the Contacting Customer Care page in its help center.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting Salams cancel my subscription?
Deleting the app doesn’t delete your account, and deleting your account doesn’t stop a store subscription. Cancel before the renewal date.
Does uninstalling Salams delete my account?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your profile active. You must delete the account in settings.
Can I pause Salams instead of deleting?
Many dating sites let you hide or pause your profile. Check Salams’s settings for a pause or hide option if you might come back.
