Free versus Salams Premium
You can swipe, match and chat on Salams for free, with a daily limit on how many new people you can message. Salams Premium removes those limits and adds:
- unlimited swipes;
- see who likes you;
- advanced search — filter by family origin, education and more;
- privacy controls — hide your age or online status and choose who can see your profile.
Salams Gold adds insight features: profile data insights and profile reviews from an expert team, aimed at people who want help presenting themselves well.
Premium is sold as a subscription, with discounts on longer terms; prices vary by country.
Is it worth it?
- Start free. If you are not hitting the daily limit, you may not need Premium.
- Pay for privacy if discretion matters to you — it is one of the most useful Premium features.
- Gold is optional; consider it only if you are getting few matches and want expert feedback on your profile.
Cancelling
Premium and Gold renew automatically and are cancelled in the App Store or Google Play. Deleting the app — or your account — does not cancel the subscription.
Prices differ between countries and between iPhone and Android, and introductory offers usually apply only to the first period. Check the renewal price before you confirm, and note which store you bought through, because that is where you will need to cancel later.
