Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SCRUFF → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SCRUFF → Cancel.
- Website: SCRUFF account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your SCRUFF account
- Cancel SCRUFF Pro in the App Store or Google Play at least 48 hours before renewal.
- Tap the Account icon and then your profile name.
- Scroll down and tap Delete profile.
- Follow the prompts. You can also disable (and later restore) instead.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check SCRUFF’s help centre.
Disable, delete or restore
SCRUFF gives you options:
- Disable your profile to take a break — you can restore it later.
- Delete your profile permanently if you do not expect to use SCRUFF again.

Deleting your profile or removing the app does not cancel auto-renewal. Cancel Pro in the App Store or Google Play at least 48 hours before renewal.
Step 2: delete your profile
- Open SCRUFF and tap the Account icon.
- Tap your profile name.
- Scroll down and tap Delete profile.
- Follow the prompts.
You can also submit a support request in the app with your profile email and name to speed up deletion.
Before you delete
- Save contact details for anyone you want to keep in touch with.
- Consider disabling instead if you might return — especially if you use SCRUFF mainly when travelling.
- Report anyone who behaved inappropriately before you leave.

One last check: if you have Pro, confirm in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions list that auto-renewal is off. It is the step most often missed, and the store — not SCRUFF — is what bills you.
