Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SilverSingles → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SilverSingles → Cancel.
- Website: SilverSingles account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your SilverSingles account
- Log in and open Settings from your profile photo icon.
- Choose Delete Account on the settings page.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check SilverSingles’s help center.
Pause instead of deleting
If you only need a break, use the pause account option on the settings page. A paused account is removed from the service and can’t be seen by other members, and you can reactivate it simply by logging in again with your email and password.
How to cancel Silver Select
Deleting your profile ends any outstanding orders, but cancel renewal first so you’re not charged again:
- on the website or app: log in, open Settings and follow the steps to turn off automatic renewal;
- by email: write to SilverSingles’ support team and ask them to cancel;
- App Store: if you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Refunds are only available if you cancel within three business days of subscribing. App Store purchases are refunded through Apple.
What deleting does
Deleting your SilverSingles account removes your profile and personal information, and you won’t be able to get back into it or retrieve your messages. Swap contact details first with anyone you want to keep talking to. If you change your mind, SilverSingles says you can email support within six months of the request to revoke it, though it only promises a reasonable effort.
If you can’t find the delete option
You can also ask SilverSingles to delete your account by emailing its support team from the address linked to your profile. Removing the app from your phone doesn’t delete the account.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting SilverSingles cancel my subscription?
