Is SilverSingles free?
It’s free to join, but not to talk. The free Standard membership lets you create a profile, complete verification, view potential matches and receive recommended profiles, while contact with other members is limited. To message someone properly, you need Silver Select. So if you’re asking whether you can message for free on SilverSingles, the answer is mostly no.
What Silver Select includes
Silver Select is the only paid membership, with no feature tiers inside it. It adds:
- private messaging, voice messages, and voice and video calls that hide your phone number;
- advanced filters, curated daily matches and priority recommendations;
- unlimited likes and swipes, rewinds and the option to reconnect with expired matches;
- seeing who liked you or viewed your profile;
- privacy tools such as anonymous browsing and on-demand invisibility.
How much does SilverSingles cost?
In the US App Store, Silver Select cost $18.99 for one month, $47.99 for three months and $84.99 for six months when we checked on October 3, 2026. That works out to about $16 a month on the three-month plan and about $14.17 on the six-month plan. Prices on the website can differ by country and change over time, so check the membership page in your account before paying.
Is Silver Select worth it?
Only once you know people near you are active. Join free, get verified and look at your recommended profiles for a week. If there are several people you’d like to write to, one month of Silver Select is a fair test. The longer plans save money per month, but only if the site keeps working for you.
Renewals and refunds
Silver Select renews automatically for the same length you chose, so a six-month plan renews for six months. To switch renewal off, log in, go to Settings and follow the steps, or email SilverSingles’ support team. Subscription fees aren’t refundable unless you cancel within three business days of subscribing. If you paid through the App Store, cancel and ask for refunds through Apple.
