Step 1: Cancel your subscription
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Taimi → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Taimi → Cancel.
- Website: Taimi account settings → subscription / billing.
Step 2: Delete your Taimi account
- Cancel any paid plan first, in the App Store or Google Play.
- Open Taimi and go to your Profile.
- Tap Settings, then find the Account section.
- Choose to delete and confirm. This can’t be undone.
Menu names can change after app updates. If you can’t find an option, check Taimi’s help center.
Cancel your subscription first
If you pay through Apple or Google, deleting Taimi doesn’t stop the subscription.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Taimi → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Taimi → Cancel.
Do this at least 24 hours before the plan renews. Your paid features last until the end of the term.
How to delete your Taimi account
In the app, go to your Profile, then Settings, and find the Account section. Taimi’s help center says that deleting removes your profile and data from its system, and that this can’t be undone (Taimi).
If you’ve lost access to the app, Taimi’s support page has a form with a “Delete account in the app” option, and you can also write to [email protected]. The same page handles privacy requests, including a request to delete your personal data.
Hide your account for a while
Taimi offers a temporary hide. It keeps your matches and conversations, and you can reverse it later. The steps are in the Taimi Protect menu under Settings, though its help pages describe the path in slightly different ways, so check both places if you can’t see it.
Stealth Mode is different. It keeps you active but makes you invisible on Discovery, except to people you like.
Before you delete
- Swap contact details with friends you’ve made through Taimi, since your chats go with the account.
- If you’re not out to everyone, remove the app from your phone after deleting, and check your email for any Taimi messages you’d rather not keep.
- Confirm in your phone’s subscription list that renewal is off.
